Custom Orthotics in Knoxville

Each foot has 26 bones and 33 joints. Proper support is vital for the sake of the arch of the foot (plantar surface), the ankles, knees, hip joints, and SI joints. With 33 joints, the foot and ankle need to move. Rigid orthotics, therefore, tend to require a "break-in" process, which is often painful and unsuccessful.

We have utilized "functional" orthotics for 26 years, with great success. The foot needs some pronation for shock absorption and supination for propulsion. Biosole Gel orthotics allow normal motion but prevent hyper-pronation. They have a few custom features that can be modified to accomodate variations in foot shape and function for each individual.
